Let’s talk mapping and eye shapes❗️

Eye shapes are one of the biggest contributors to how your set will come out. Someone with downturned eyes can’t expect to have the same look as someone with upturned eyes. Typically you would like extensions to accentuate and compliment your eye shape. For example doing a style with longer outer corners like cat-eye on someone with downturned eyes will result in a droopy look, but there are always tweaks and different curls that can be used to give a more “cat eye” look. Even the way your natural lashes grow can completely change the look of a set. For my clients with straighter natural lashes I try to use curlier curls to give the a more lifted look. Extensions are so customizable and it is important to always discuss with your lash tech beforehand exactly what result you’re hoping to come out with.
