One Spirit With Him
âBut he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.â (1 Corinthians 6:17)
When we confess faith in Jesus, our spirit becomes one with Godâs Spirit. The Greek word translated âoneâ in this verse is HEIS, meaning âa single one, to the exclusion of others.â This speaks of a complete spiritual unionânot a distant relationship, but an inseparable oneness with the Lord.
In our born-again spirits, we are made like Jesus. As He is, so are we (1 John 4:17). There is no separation or difference in the life of God that now dwells within us. This same Greek word is used to describe the oneness Jesus has with the Father in John 10:30.
This is the oneness humanity originally had with Almighty God at creation. That union was lost when sin entered the world and separated mankind from God. Through Jesus, that fellowship has been restored, and believers are once again joined to the Lord as one spirit.
What does this mean for us? It means we have direct access to God the Father and can discern what He has already provided in the spiritual realm. When sickness comes against us, we do not pray as though healing still needs to be obtained. As sons and daughters of God, we stand in the authority He has given us. Faith rests in the finished work of Christ, declares the healing already provided, and calls it into manifestation.
Confession: I am healed by the stripes of Jesus!

Walk By Faith
â(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)â (2 Corinthians 5:17)
Because faith comes by hearing Godâs Word, as believers, we are to walk by what âthus
says the Lordâ, not by what our five physical senses are telling us. Faith is seeing. Itâs just not seeing with our physical eyes. It is seeing with the eyes of our hearts through the revelation of the Holy Spirit as He unveils the truths of Godâs Word.
There is a spiritual world that is more real than the physical world. The spiritual world created the physical world (Hebrews 11:3), and the spiritual force is greater than the physical world that it created. Faith is simply seeing through the eyes of our hearts into the spiritual world and basing our thoughts and actions on those spiritual realities instead of being limited to physical perceptions alone.
Faith is not denying that physical realities exist. It is just denying that the physical world is all there is. Spiritual reality will trump physical reality if firmly believed and acted on. The Christian life is to be regulated and conducted by faith, as opposed to the external and outward appearances of physical sight. There is a sense in which sight is involved, but it is the spiritual seeing of faith rather than seeing with the physical eye that is more real.
If you believe what the bible says about your healing rather than how you feel, then your words and your actions should reflect that. Because your words primarily, and your actions are what will cause the spiritual to be manifested in your life.
Confession: Regardless of what I hear, smell, feel, taste, and see, I am healed by the stripes that were laid on the body of Jesus. Jesus took the punishment of my sin, which includes, all sickness and all diseases, so I donât have to. I am healed by the stripes of Jesus.

Speak The Outcome That You Want
âDeath and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereofâ (Proverbs 18:21)
The words we speak have the power to bring life or death, blessing or harm, and we are accountable for the consequences of our speech. Our speech is not neutral; it can either build up or destroy. The "tongue" here is often understood metaphorically to represent the words we speak, which reflect the condition of our hearts; for out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. (Luke 6:45) A personâs words reveal the true condition of their heart.
Austin was a 16-year-old high school student who played football. At practice one day he took a hit and wound up on the ground unconscious. When Austin came back to consciousness his arm was on his face and he couldnât move it or any other part of his body. While Austin was being transported to the hospital he was in and out of consciousness and was having recurring seizures. Austinâs parents were notified of the accident, and before leaving the house to go the hospital, the mom insisted that the family pray and take communion. She stated that they were not going to leave the house in fear. Hours later after Austinâs initial treatment and diagnosis five doctors were in the room with Austin and his parents giving them the prognosis. Austin would be paralyzed for life, he would have to take medication for the seizures for the unforeseeable future. When Austin heard the diagnosis, he uncharacteristically yelled at the doctors and told them to get out of the room. Long story short, 3 weeks later Austin was back at football practice completely healed.
Austin did not allow anything to determine the outcome of his situation but his faith in the Word of God.
Confession: No matter what the situation looks like in the natural, I will speak from the abundance of Godâs Word in my heart. As I align my words with His Word, I trust that the outcome will be good.

Call What Is Spiritual Into Physical Manifestation
â(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.â (Romans 4:17)
Romans 4:16 calls Abraham our father of faith. God made a covenant with Abraham, saying, âI have made you the father of many nations.â He didnât say, âI will make you.â He said, âI have made you.â (Genesis 17:3-5) The phrase, âand calleth those things which be not as though they were,â is referring to the instance Paul had just cited when God changed Abramâs name to Abraham. The name Abram means âhigh father,â and the name Abraham means âfather of a multitude.â The Lord changed Abramâs name to Abraham, confessing that Abraham was the father of a multitude before it happened in the physical.
The Lord did the same thing throughout creation, the Lord declared a thing in the spirit, and the thing he declared in the spirit, came into manifestation in the physical. After God created man and gave him authority over the earth, God then had to have the cooperation of a man to accomplish His will in the earth. The old testament is filled with prophecies spoken by God through men. Everyone of them either has or will come to pass.
âGod, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;â (Hebrews 1:1-2)
Confession: Father, You have already declared in Your Word that I am healed by the stripes of Jesus. What You have provided by grace in the spiritual realm, I now call into manifestation in the physical realm. Body, be healed in Jesusâ name! (Mark 11:23)

Donât Observe Lying Vanities
âThey that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy.â (Jonah 2:8)
Who doesnât know the story about Jonah and the great fish that swallowed him up? Jonah said, âIf you observe lying vanities, youâre going to forsake your own mercy.â Anything contrary to Godâs Word is a lying vanity. Jonah was saying, âI can sit here in this fish and dwell on my predicament, or I can close my eyes and think about Godâs divine mercy that belongs to me. Jonah decided to lift up his voice and praised the Lord, right in the midst of his problem. âBut I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that that I have vowed. Salvation is of the LORD.â (Jonah 2:9)
I heard the story about a minister who wasnât feeling well and went to the doctor on a Friday. The minister was told that if he had not come in that day, he would have been dead the following Monday. He was still told to get his affairs in order because he was going to die. The doctors found cancer and based on their prognosis, he only had months if not weeks to live.
But this minister heard another Word from the Lord, that said, âyou shall live and not die from this illnessâ. Instead of focusing on the word of the doctors, the minister focused on the Word of Lord. A year later to the day, the minister was completely cancer free.
In the New Covenant, itâs not God who punishes us, but we experience problems because we have forsaken our own mercies. The Lord has a plan for every life, and when we walk in His plan, we have special mercy and blessings available to us. But they donât just come to pass automatically. We have to believe in order to receive. (Hebrews 4:2)
The Lordâs plans for us are nothing but good. The evil we experience doesnât come from the Lord. Itâs because we arenât following Godâs plans that most of us encounter evil. As we follow Godâs plans for our lives, we can be assured of the outcome. There will be an expected future. It is never too late to walk out Godâs plan for your life.
Confession: Lord, you are God and beside you, there is no other. For I know the thoughts that you think towards me, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give me an expected end.
