Heyyyyy! My goodness life has been full and busy. To say I’ve been absent from this account is an understatement.

But we take care of what’s in front of us first, right?

I became an aunt!
The salon expansion is about to turn two!
is coming up on seven years open and thriving!

And with that, made the decision to focus more on the people who make this business what it is (our clients and our team) and spend a little less time on social media.

But in the middle of all the beautiful chaos, I captured this image of .witch27 after a class I taught.

I haven’t entered contests in a while, but this one feels like it deserves to be in the pool of entries because:

• It’s beautiful
• The class was wonderful
✨ And most important, let’s shout it from the rooftops:

This post is meant to bring attention to that message, because it cannot get buried. A beautiful world only exists when people feel free to exist within it.

As hairdressers, part of our job is creating safety in identity and through my work, I want everyone who sits in these chair to feel beautiful and safe.

First looks of what I created with the team in LA the past couple of days. We covered trending summer colors and my interpretation of them, but most importantly, highlighted formulation and product knowledge to help any colorist perform the job from beginning to end with success.

Working with to not only bring exciting content to stylists everywhere, but also give thorough education has been a dream of mine and we are doing it👏

Results from yesterday’s class collab! I prepped my gorgeous model .witch27 with my signature soft blocking foil technique with 9+ and 20 volume lotion. I had the class attendees select the color palette and mix up their custom tones using - I demonstrated a few sections using color melting and over direction, then handed the reigns over to the attendees to finish the entire look. Collaboration is such a beautiful thing. Thankful to have had such a fun day with the fine folks over at 🫶
