It has come to our attention that individuals are claiming the be stylists at The Hair Lab (primarily through Facebook groups) and taking deposits via cash app/Venmo, etc to book an appointment. THIS IS A SCAM, we do not require deposits for any services at this time. If you have any interactions with profiles attempting this, feel free to send us any screenshots/information to [email protected] as we are trying to take action.

Emily here! 👋🏼 My mission at The Hair Lab is to be an incubator- to mentor stylists who are looking to grow their careers. Sometimes that means they outgrow our environment. Kait has made the decision to start her own venture and I am proud to have been a part of her journey. To go from an assistant to a fully booked stylist ready to forge her own path in just 2 years is INCREDIBLE and it’s been a joy to watch her personal and professional growth.
Honestly, as much as I am going to miss seeing her face in the salon, this is probably best for us to continue our personal friendship shenanigans without the whole employer/employee dynamic getting in the way. 😜

The Hair Lab staff is rolling out our reopening! We have staggering start dates, some starting next week and some not until early July.

Each stylist is contacting clients from their cancellation report to get them rescheduled, so be on the lookout for an email if you had an appointment cancelled due to Covid-19.

Most of us are contacting people week by week, starting with those whose appointments were canceled when we closed, 3/17/20. If you don’t hear from us right away, it could be because we have gotten that far down the list yet!

Each of us have hundreds of appointments to reschedule which means we are managing a LOT of emails, texts, and calls. We very much appreciate everyone’s patience and it is possible that something may fall through the cracks. We apologize in advance if we stumble in this process.

Dear Hair Lab friends,

We have made the decision to close the salon in the wake of the Covid-19 outbreak. We want to keep everyone safe and it is hard to justify exposure for a non vital service. We’ll reevaluate the situation week by week.
That said, we are going to be very bored and slap happy, so we’ll probably be posting a lot of video tutorials and whatnot during our quarantine. :)
