These photos were taken minutes apart under different lighting conditions. The outdoor sunlight reveals the golden and copper dimension, while the indoor lighting softens those same tones and creates a more neutral appearance. You can even see the difference in tone of her shirt!

One of my little colorist secrets? I sometimes bring my own portable, adjustable LED lighting when I’m formulating. When I’m making formulation decisions, I want to see the truest representation of the color possible.
