Skye's the Limit Equine Therapy
I am a body and energy worker for horses. Ask me about all the healing modalities and energy work I offer!!
I have had great success with horses who are displaying unexplained behavioral and body dysfunction by rebalancing their energy systems. Equine massage therapist, cranial sacral, acupressure/energy alchemist, reiki master teacher, Akashic Records alchemist, and soon to be Equine Osteopath. Working to enhance a horse's health and well being, and the connection to their owner.
Yesterday I asked what is your horse.... an alchemist or a mirror. Perhaps that made you think... what are they?
My mare Skye was an alchemist. I could go to her after the worst emotional day ever, and we'd ride and I felt amazing afterwards. I used to call it a riding high. Horses innately alchemize energy for their person. That is why we have so many therapeutic riding schools. Horses are great healers.
My gelding Merlin is my mirror. Not to say I don't feel well when we ride, but he will show me if I am not showing up authentically. If I am feeling very upset or nervous about something in life, he will respond in like. Not that he doesn't trust me but he's more like.... "You feel weird, not yourself" and acts cautiously. I'll tell him that I am confident, but my body or energy doesn't feel that way to him. We ride.... we love each other but he shows me that I am being honest with myself or not.
Once you know and can determine what your horse is.... it elevates your partnership even more. :)

🐎Interesting information about how horses see colours!
Did you know......
There are several nerves that are located around the area you'd put your girth.
- Lateral thoracic nerve: Runs behind the elbow, if your cinch/girth is too tight or too forward this can put pressure on this nerve causing significant discomfort or sharp reactions.
- Intercostal nerve: These run along the ribs and are under where the girth lays. Compression of these nerves is often called girth pain syndrome where radiating pain cause difficulty breathing.
- Cutaneous nerves: This is skin along girth and barrel are laced with these sensory nerves. These nerves are sensitive to touch and can be trigged by ill fitting tack.
It is always wise to slowly cinch your girth. One hole each side slowly, ensuring the skin isn't pinched or stretched below your cinch/girth. Stretch the foreleg forward to ensure the skin can move forward.
Paying attention to the small signs (ear twitching, turning head, air biting, resistance). Horses don't have the ability to talk like we do, so the way they can tell you something hurts or is uncomfortable is.... by their actions.

The heat is on!!!!! But there are more risks than just the heat. I hear often of folks putting fans in the stalls and run in sheds. I guarantee that the fans installed are not the safe enclosed motor fans. Box fans cost $20 or less at Target. Perfect for that quick need. But that $20 fan could likely cost you your entire barn. The fires begin with the dust / hay making contact with the mechanical working of an unprotected motor.
The enclosed motor fans do come at a cost.... the one I have costs $99. But despite the dirt/dust on it, the motor is protected.
Another consideration --- Please make sure outlet you are connecting your fans to.... can handle the voltage you are using with your fans. If not, it can make your fans run hot. Yet another fire potential.
Be smart my friends. I know the heat is challenging for us all.... Hosing, salt, water, fly protection (flies love sweat). and shade is all we can provide. As an animal communicator, I know they appreciate anything we do for them... however grand or small.
Often times emotional issues can end up manifesting as physical ailments in people and animals.
I challenge you to look up some of your ailments on the site below. Be truthful about your emotional state. Be honest with yourself, there is no judgement, it's only you and the list.
www.alchemyofhealing.com
I have looked at the list about my parents and their ailments and 99.9% of the time their current physical challenges are a result of years of stuck emotions within themselves. Now of course, this is after you've exhausted all manners of medical attention. This is not a replacement for medical attention. But I have found that once you address the emotional issues causing the physical ailment, you likely will see improvement in your health.
As you know, horses alchemize feelings for their owner. This means that some horses can start to show signs of physical issues as a result of alchemizing those emotions. Clearing a horses auric field, meridians, and chakras can help remove what they alchemized.
What I do helps not only the horse but also helps the owner. DM me if you have any questions!!! I am here to help ...

Acupuncture and acupressure use the same acupoints on a horses body.
What's the difference? Glad you asked!!!
Acupuncture uses needles and must be done by a licensed vet specializing in training in equine acupuncture. This is due to piercing the skin and is considered a medical invasive procedure
Acupressure uses the thumb to manipulate the point. Because it is non-invasive, it can be learned and applied by horse owners, trainers, or equine bodyworkers to help maintain their horse's comfort and relaxation.
Acupressure is one of the modalities that STL offers!!! DM me for more information!

Earliest archaeological evidence of Feng Shui dates back between 4,000 BC and 1,500 BC in ancient China. Feng Shui is an ancient Chinese practice that focuses on arranging buildings, objects, and space to harmonize with the flow of universal life energy, known as Chi (Qi or life force) The goal is to maximize health, peace, and prosperity.
The foundational concepts of meridian balancing was discovered in China over 2,000 years ago. Meridian balancing refers to regulating the flow of Qi (vital energy) through specific invisible energy highways in the body to restore physiological and emotional harmony. Acupuncture, Acupressure and Qua Sha are means to help the flow so the body can self-heal properly.
If your home can have stagnant energy causing emotional and energetic disruptions... so too can you body AND your horse's body. The same energy that flows through your home. QI (Chi or Life force)...... is the same energy that flows through you and your horse.
The practice of helping/aiding and removing blockages of energy in the body has been around for a long time. Fascinating isn't it?
