Stoughton Fire Fighters Local 1512

Public Service Announcement: Stoughton, we would like to advise that today at Meads Meadow at the corner of Gay St and Washington St, the prescribed burn for the preparation of the winter ice rink is well under way. DPW crew members are underway with the work and Stoughton Fire is on standby with one of our crews. Smoke will be visible in this area during the duration of this work.

The PFFM Foundation is asking our members, locals, and supporters to come together for the family of Jack McCarthy of Randolph Local 1268.

Jack recently suffered a rare type of stroke and is now facing a long road to recovery. As he focuses on healing, his family is also facing the financial challenges that come with an extended recovery and time away from work.

Jack has spent more than 20 years serving his community as a firefighter and Lieutenant with the Randolph Fire Department. Now, it’s our turn to support one of our own.

Please consider donating and sharing the fundraiser to help Jack and his family during this difficult time.

Members of Stoughton Firefighters Local 1512 have been taking advantage of a great training opportunity at properties on Canton Street.

Over the past several weeks, our firefighters have been conducting hands-on training in ventilation, roof operations, chimney fires, and ladder operations.

A special thank you to Jon Spiegel of M&D Core, Inc. for generously allowing us to use his property for this training.

Members of Stoughton Fire who are on the Norfolk County Technical Rescue Team participated in the Massachusetts Task Force 1 Mobilization Exercise. Our members, along with those from multiple other communities, took part in two realistic and challenging disaster exercises that expanded their rescue capabilities and multi-agency interoperability. Strong work, NCTRT.
