September 11th holds a very personal place in my heart. My dad was a Port Authority Police Chief and a first responder on 9/11. I was incredibly close to him, and after losing him last year to dementia, this 25th anniversary feels especially meaningful.

With active-duty and retired military members also in my family, honoring those who serve and protect is something very close to my heart.
