💋 LET’S TALK LIP BLUSHING 💋

If you’ve never had lip blush before, the process can look a little different than you might expect — and that’s completely normal! This is an immediate after photo to show the natural lip swelling and blanching, no editing!

✨ SWELLING:
Your lips may be swollen immediately after your appointment, especially during the first few hours. This is your skin’s natural response to the treatment. Don’t panic — they will settle down! There is NO injections during lip blushing, just pigment.

🤍 BLANCHING:
You may notice your lips looking very pale, white, or almost “chalky” immediately after or during the procedure. This is called blanching and happens from the numbing process + pressure on the lips. It is temporary and will go away. (Notice the light white spot on the bottom lip, that will go away)

🎨 THE COLOR:
Freshly tattooed lips can look MUCH brighter, darker, or more intense than your final healed result. This is not your final color! The color will fade and soften, at our touch up we can keep them soft and natural or go darker in color if needed!

As your lips heal, the color will soften and become more natural. You may experience some dryness, flaking, or peeling as the skin regenerates. DO NOT PICK OR PEEL! Let your lips heal naturally.

💗 THE HEALED RESULT:
Lip blush is a process, not an overnight result. Your color will continue to soften and settle as your lips heal, and your final result is typically evaluated once they have fully healed.
