I started with black nestled deeply into the lash line for rich definition, then softly blended a chocolate brown above it to create that beautiful, diffused shadow effect. A subtle soft pink highlight in the center of the lid adds dimension and just the right touch of light.

Lip neutralization is not a one-and-done treatment—it’s a journey toward the final color goal. 💋

For melanin-rich lips with cool, dark, purple, blue, or gray undertones, our first priority is to neutralize those cooler tones by strategically introducing warmth into the lips. This creates a more balanced foundation before we move toward the client’s desired final color.

This before-and-immediately-after photo shows the first stage of the process. The lips will now heal, soften, and reveal their true neutralized result over the coming weeks. What you see immediately after treatment is not the final healed color—and patience is an important part of the magic!

Once she is fully healed, we’ll bring her back, assess how her individual lip tissue has retained and responded to the pigment, and then customize our next session accordingly. From there, we’ll continue moving toward her ultimate goal: a beautiful, rich, warm wine tone. 🍷💋
