This is generalized advice for light to medium depth chemical peel aftercare.
The deeper the peel the more important it is for you to lay off your actives for longer.
It’s also important not to get hot or sweaty after a chemical peel. This is to minimize inflammation and to keep sweat from getting trapped under the layers of skin that will soon peel off.
I also recommend my clients not to take hot showers, go into saunas, or swim at all after a peel.
