Sometimes people will message me or put notes in my forms, telling me that they believe they have had a broken skin barrier for years and that they are working hard to “heal it”
I think this ideology points to a misunderstanding of an irritated skin barrier in the first place. Some people with inflammatory skin disorders DO naturally have barrier dysfunction that require more delicate upkeep to manage.
But skin barrier distruption episodes are usually resolved quickly and without much intervention.

There’s obviously way more to this list, but here’s where I’ll start.
Growing as a skin care specialist is challenging. Your career is so heavily dependent on how much you allow yourself to grow. Growing involves discomfort and fear. Going solo also involves your participation in social media. The most important thing that brings clients to you is you yourself.
Hone your energy in on your education and become confident by embracing the learning process. Don’t be afraid to do things differently. Your business can be anything you want it to be.
Mine grew out of a passion for skin care and a love for people.

Azelaic acid can be so beneficial for acne, rosacea, and pigmentation. It’s quite a gentle active ingredient and takes a while to start showing benefits, but it’s worth the consistency!

I don’t subscribe to the pore clogging ingredient checkers or lists when recommending moisturizers as it doesn’t carry much weight in real world applications.
I have had many acne clients over the years successfully use all of these moisturizers while managing their acne without increased break outs.
I recommend trying any from this list if you suffer with dry acne prone skin!
