♥️♥️♥️…‘anniversaries’ can be a weird mix of emotions-this is 35. 35 years ago my friend Denise passed away after being a passenger in my car as we drove back to Sandpoint from Coeur d’Alene. We were on Hwy 95 at Lancaster Ave when a car came off a side road and t-boned us. The ugly parts of this experience can still be just as ugly at times. But with time, if given the chance, I’ve learned love can fill those holes when we get bumped around in this lifetime. Not completely-but I think that’s probably a good thing to remain a lil raw. Because that bit of rawness nudges us to be better today than yesterday- to love wide open, to offer grace when none of us actually ever deserve that, and to get up in the morning with gratitude. There still is an old red barn there, but also there is a stoplight at that intersection now. Many of you know that I call it Denise’s Light. It’s a place where a beautiful soul lost her life, and it is also a place that I love to think about how many others she has helped with that stoplight. Gratitude- Love- Grace-life is brief pouring out love is always perfectly in style♥️

😍🙌👯‍♀️…tried Rhodes rolls for the first ever time and sidebar: I’m totally sold on those lil nuggets of pure magic! Anyway a beautiful evening to try making sticky rolls!
