somewhat perplexed that it changed her goals and plan in life. Rachelle put aside her academic goal and pursued her passion in Esthetics. She worked as a Licensed Esthetician specializing in waxing (Brazilian, Brows, Full Face and Body) and Skin care. Her career started in 2011 with first doing bridal makeup, providing skin care and facials in which she also enjoyed doing, but then she discovered how fun waxing is and it totally changed her career as an esthetician. She established her first Salon and Spa business in Downtown Belleville with her Mother under the name Mabista Salon and Spa and was responsible for all Profit and Loss results. Her involvement in this company resulted in 250% growth in her services. The summary to her success was based on her ease of doing business with clients. Rachelle sold the salon in February 2016 due to her Mother’s retirement. Rachelle on the otherhand wanted to venture out and see what’s out there for her. After gaining years of experience from her first salon and also worked for a well-known Benefit brow bar company as their Arch Expert. She then decided to make the jump and open her own waxing center, thus, Mabista Brazilian Wax was born in O’Fallon, IL in 2017! The Mabista Brazilian Wax business was successful for two and half years. However, she always felt some form of resentment as to why she did not follow through with her nursing career goal in life. Rachelle reapplied and got accepted again at Goldfarb School of Nursing in St Louis and started their 2020 fall term program. After careful consideration of her school schedule while dealing with the growing concern of COVID-19, She decided it was best to close her business temporarily. She was thrilled to finally be able to continue her education and attend her dream school. To her disappointment it was not what she had expected. She realized she did not have the same passion in Nursing as she had with being an Entrepreneur. Rachelle made an executive decision to withdraw from the program. Rachelle then immediately enrolled in one of the best Academies in the Midwest for microblading located in Chicago, IL. Simultaneously Rachelle completed Phlebotomy program in St Louis, MO. Rachelle finished both programs before the end of 2020. In the midst of it all, she recognized her true calling was in the field of Esthetics. Rachelle’s historical challenges and diversity provides the highest level of excellence towards her client’s care. Rachelle finally found the perfect location in Swansea, IL to establish her permanent business. Rachelle’s goal is to create beautiful brows, provide skincare consultation as well as to make your waxing experience an exceptional one.
