Forever 21 has filed for bankruptcy and will close its stores in the United States.
F21 OpCo, the operator, and some U.S. subsidiaries filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in the Delaware Bankruptcy Court. The company listed its estimated assets as between $100 million and $500 million and liabilities of $1 billion to $5 billion.
Forever21 first filed for bankruptcy in 2019, closing down more than 30 percent of its stores in the United States before being bought out of bankruptcy by Sparc Group.
