Not every massage therapist understands cosmetic surgery recovery... and that's okay.
Massage school provides an incredible foundation, but post-operative care is a specialty that requires additional education, hands-on training, and a deep understanding of the healing process.
After surgery, your body isn't simply "tight" or "sore." It's healing from controlled trauma. Swelling, inflammation, changes in the lymphatic system, surgical techniques, compression garments, drains, and activity restrictions all play a role in how—and when—care should be provided.
That's why post-op lymphatic therapy should never be a one-size-fits-all approach.

The answer is... very intentionally.
At Wrthit, we don't believe exceptional post-operative care comes from simply having a massage license. It comes from specialized education, hands-on training, and a genuine commitment to serving clients with excellence.
Every therapist who joins our team is trained in the Wrthit Gold Standard, which includes:

One of the questions I've been asked recently is, "Why are you growing your team?"
The answer is simple.
Because there are more people who need quality post-operative care than I could ever serve on my own.
Every week, I receive calls from women who are preparing for surgery, feeling overwhelmed, unsure of who to trust, and simply wanting someone to guide them through recovery. While I'm incredibly grateful for that trust, I've realized something important:
My mission was never to help only the people I could personally fit into my schedule.
My mission has always been to raise the standard of post-operative care and make exceptional recovery available to more people.
That's why we're growing!
Not to become bigger for the sake of being bigger, but to ensure that more women have access to compassionate, knowledgeable, evidence-informed care when they need it most.

When I started Wrthit, I had one simple goal:
To make sure people recovering from surgery felt cared for, educated, and supported during one of the most vulnerable times in their healing journey.
Over the last few years, Wrthit has grown faster than I ever imagined.
