I’ve been holding on for over 2 years now. I didn’t want to believe it, but I’ve finally come to realize that Texarkana may not be my audience or clientele.

I’ve invested so much time, money, energy, and love into my business, yet I haven’t seen the growth I’ve been praying and working for. I’ve tried promoting deals, giveaways, working around everyone’s schedules, and doing everything I could to make my services accessible.

Working 12-hour shifts while also running a business isn’t easy, but I’ve continued to make time because I genuinely love what I do. I love helping people feel good about themselves and taking care of their self-care needs. That love is exactly why I’ve never given up.

Maybe my journey isn’t happening as quickly as I imagined, but I’m learning that slow motion is still better than no motion. 🩷

Can I share something from my heart?

I offer esthetician specials all year long—even with the small number of clients I currently have. I don’t create specials because my services aren’t worth the price. I create them because I know that sometimes people need self-care but can’t always afford full-price services, and I want to make it easier for both new and returning clients to book.

Most of the time, when I promote a special, I only receive 1–2 bookings. While I am incredibly grateful for every single client, I would love to see more people take advantage of these opportunities.

My dream is to become a full-time entrepreneur, but I’ll be honest—it hasn’t been easy. Building a business takes patience, consistency, and the support of the community. Every appointment, every referral, every share, and every recommendation truly makes a difference.
