I’m so extremely grateful I got to be part of this Coast Monthly photo shoot as a makeup artist. The Grand Galvez will always feel like home to me—the first salon I ever worked in was right here in this hotel. Getting to create alongside this team in a place that means so much to me was such a special moment.
The hotel’s history and beauty brought this whole Mad Hatter vision to life. From the makeup and costumes to the tea party and that gorgeous staircase, it was so fun watching everything come together.
