If I wanted to grow my hair this is what I would do. 👇🏾

1. KNOW YOUR NUMBERS

I would get a full checkup to make sure I’m not deficient in any nutrients or vitamins. Start from the inside out. You can’t fix what’s on the outside before you fix what’s on the inside.

2. TAKE SUPPLEMENTS TO HELP SUPPORT YOUR HEALTHY HAIR JOURNEY

Iron, vitamin D, zinc, Biotin, just to name a few are common deficiencies I see in my clients day after day. These deficiencies can cause hair thinning and breakage. Also, I’ve noticed if you have high blood pressure or a thyroid issue, you’ll see major thinning In the crown of the head. It’s still possible to have hair retention and growth even with these health issues.

3. GET ROUTINE HAIR MAINTENANCE

Consistent trims, protein and hydration treatments are a must when you’re on your hair growth journey. No need in holding onto length when it’s still not healthy. Sometimes a big chop is a must!

4. STAY CONSISTENT WITH AN EDUCATED PROFESSIONAL

Stop chair hopping get into the chair, of a beauty professional that will nurture your hair and scalp. Get on a consistent affordable hair routine that works for you that won’t break the bank.

Sometimes we want something that takes a little more time. And sometimes, a little creativity helps us enjoy the journey. ❤️

This baby waited months for his hair to grow long enough for two strand twists. He came in for multiple length checks, leaving disappointed hoping each visit would be the day! 🥹

After all that waiting, we offered to add a little human hair to help him achieve the look he wanted. Sydney was nervous because she had one very important little client to make happy, and she didn’t disappoint! 🫶🏽

He smiled from the time he walked through our doors until the moment he left. Seeing him leave with his twists and that big smile meant everything! Everyone is the shop cheered him on as he left 🤣🙌🏾
