Hey y’all, I’m Jaci. 🤍

For 24 years, I’ve been behind the chair creating color, confidence, transformations, and relationships that have become so much more than appointments.

I’m a color specialist, educator, and hairstylist with 16 years of experience with Hairdreams Hair Extensions & Volume Plus and 8 years working with Natural Beaded Rows (NBR). And these days, one of the things closest to my heart is continuing to learn, evolve, and bring new methods and solutions to individuals experiencing hair loss.

But outside of the hair… here’s who I am. 👇🏼

I’m a woman learning how to embrace a brand-new season of life.

A new empty nester who is figuring out that raising a son to chase his dreams means sometimes you have to learn how to chase a few new dreams of your own, too. 🥹🏈

These days, you can find me splitting my time between behind the chair at J.Hues Salon | J.Hues Styling, located inside The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center in The Woodlands, Texas…

…and somewhere on the road headed to Murray, Kentucky, proudly watching my college-aged son, Rocco, live out his football dreams. 💙💛

I’m learning that motherhood changes. Careers evolve. Children grow up. And somewhere in the middle of all of it, women get the opportunity to meet a version of themselves they haven’t met yet.

So this is me. 💋

Still finding my way through this next chapter—with a little more freedom, a little more road time, and probably a whole lot more football. 🏈

A QUICK BUT IMPORTANT PHONE SERVICE UPDATE ❤️

Hi everyone,

I wanted to send another update because I know many of you have been frustrated trying to reach me recently—and I completely understand.

I have had several clients and friends let me know they are unable to get through to me, and some have even stopped by the salon during my lunch break or outside of salon hours hoping to catch me in person.

Please know that I am not intentionally missing your calls or messages.

There is currently a Verizon technical issue affecting service in the Houston area, and I am experiencing problems with calls and texts consistently going through. Calls may not come in, outgoing calls may fail, and text messages may not send or may not be received. Unfortunately, the service can appear to work for a while and then stop functioning again.

I have spent approximately 20 hours over the past three weeks working with Verizon by phone and in their store, as well as troubleshooting with Apple. I have done everything I can to get this resolved, but it is becoming increasingly clear that this is a provider issue that is outside of my control.

Unfortunately, switching providers is not a simple solution for me either, as I manage multiple phone lines for myself, my business, my dad, Rocco and Chris.

I realize having to communicate through multiple platforms is not ideal. It isn’t ideal for me either, and I certainly don’t want to have to monitor several different places just to make sure I don’t miss someone.

However, until Verizon resolves this issue and my phone service becomes consistently reliable again, these are the best alternatives.

If you have called or texted me and haven’t received a response, please don’t assume I’m ignoring you. There is a very good chance I never received the message or call.

Please be patient and understanding with me while I continue working to get this corrected. I truly appreciate everyone who has been patient, understanding and supportive through all of this. ❤️

I will absolutely update everyone once my phone service is consistently functioning again.

Graduation and College Bound

Time Out of Salon and Communication Update

Hiya, J.Hues Styling Guests,

As many of you know, this season is especially meaningful for our family as we celebrate Rocco’s graduation and prepare to move him to Murray, Kentucky for summer football training with Murray State University. Because of this exciting transition, I will be taking a small break during select dates this summer to focus on family, travel, and helping him settle into this next chapter.

Please make note of the following dates that I will be unavailable or operating with delayed communication:

• May 21st–24th — Rocco’s graduation celebrations and hosting out-of-town family visiting for graduation weekend. His graduation ceremony will be held at Reed Arena in College Station.

• July 4th–8th — Traveling to move Rocco into Murray State University in Murray and attending university orientation during those dates.

During these times, replies to messages may be slightly delayed. If you are needing immediate appointment adjustments, I kindly encourage you to utilize the online booking system to locate, move, or reschedule your appointment directly through the scheduling platform.

I also highly encourage online booking for both scheduling new appointments and making appointment changes whenever possible. The online system allows guests to receive immediate availability and confirmation rather than waiting for my return messages during business hours or at the end of my workday.

My current working hours remain Tuesday through Saturday from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Outside of those hours, I am working to be more intentional about protecting personal time, family time, and moments of rest and restoration. If you send a message during my off-hours, please know that your message is important to me and I will absolutely respond as soon as I am able.

Thank you for your continued loyalty, patience, support, and understanding as our family navigates such a special milestone season. Your support of J.Hues Styling has allowed me the ability to be present for these moments, and for that I am incredibly grateful.

FALL SCHEDULING &

ADVANCE BOOKING REMINDERS

I also wanted to give all guests advance notice regarding upcoming scheduling adjustments for late summer and fall.

At some point during August, I will be taking a personal vacation leave for a health and wellness retreat. At this time, the exact dates have not yet been finalized, but I wanted to communicate this early so guests can plan accordingly once dates are officially announced.
Because of this future leave, as well as the busy fall season approaching, I strongly encourage all guests to utilize the online booking platform, save the booking link for easy access, and consider pre-booking future appointments whenever possible. Pre-booking will help ensure preferred appointment times and create a smoother scheduling experience during the upcoming football season and holiday months.
Additionally, beginning this fall there will no longer be Saturday appointment availability due to college football travel and game weekends with Murray State University. This is a temporary shift during football season so I can attend Rocco's games this upcoming Fall.
To better accommodate guests during the work week, I will be extending evening hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

• Mondays: 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Tuesdays: 1:30 PM – 9:30 PM
• Wednesdays: 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Thursdays: 1:30 PM – 9:30 PM
