✌🏻 Love the life you live
Come as you are->stay as you grow
I created The Self Love Junkie, to remind people daily of their value, to offer self love tips that have helped me along my journey, and "launch" hacks (little shortcuts), to help you live a life you love!

Your life is shaped in the ordinary, every day moments.
🤍The small decisions.
🤍The promises you keep to yourself.
🤍The things you choose even when no one is watching.
Who you become tomorrow, is quietly being built by what you choose today.

1. Let your mind, heart, and truth work together.
💗You don’t have to choose between what makes sense, what you feel, and what you know deep down. Being human, is learning to dance with all three—your heart, soul, and mind.
2. Let go of needing to know how it ends.
💗Not everything will work out the way you hoped, and that’s ok. Sometimes the growth is the point.
3. Choose the kind of self-care that helps you grow.
💗Sometimes self-care is rest. Sometimes it’s a boundary, an apology, a hard conversation, or walking away.
4. Let go when you’re ready.
💗Sometimes we have to hold on long enough to understand why it’s time to release.
5. Give yourself space to not have it all together.
💗You don’t always need to do more. Sometimes you need enough quiet, to remember who you are beneath all the doing.
6. When you feel stuck, face what is true.
💗Ask yourself: “Given what I know now, what is my next step?” You may have more choice than you realize.
7. Teach others how to treat you, by how you treat yourself.
💗The more you respect yourself, the easier it becomes to recognize what doesn’t feel respectful.
8. Honor your seasons.
đź’—There are times to work hard, and times to pull inward. Rest deserves a place in your life too.
9. Stop trying to control your way out of pain.
💗Peace often begins when you stop trying to make everything perfect, and face what you’ve been afraid to feel.
10. Remember that love was never something you had to earn.
💗Self-love is often less about becoming someone new, and more about letting go of everything that taught you you weren’t enough.
11. Give clarity room to find you.
💗You don’t have to force an answer. Pause, step away, and return, when the fear gets quieter.
12. Build a life that keeps your heart open.
đź’—There is no single path to happiness. A meaningful life is one where you can keep returning to yourself, and to love at the end of each day.

One of my favorite Dolly quotesđź’—

Sometimes we judge our past self with the wisdom we’ve only gained today. But, growth doesn’t arrive all at once. Growth comes through mistakes, heartbreak, experience, and time. Be gentle with the version of you that was doing the best it could with what it knew. The lesson wasn’t late, it arrived exactly when YOU were ready to receive it💗.
I don’t think we talk enough about this part of growth—
Outgrowing a friendship, that once meant so much to you.
There wasn’t a fight.
No clear ending.
Just a quiet, gradual realization that something didn’t feel the same anymore.
You were always there to listen, support, and hold space. But, somewhere along the way, you started to notice how you felt, and couldn’t unsee it. So, you chose your peace. Gently, quietly, but intentionally.
And no matter how much time passes,, it still occasionally crosses your mind.
When you see them.
When they pop up online. When memories surface out of nowhere.
Not because you want the friendship back, but because it mattered. Because at one point in time, it meant so much to you.
I think sometimes we expect ourselves to feel instant relief when we walk away from something that isn’t right for us anymore. However, no one really prepares you for the part where you still have to grieve it, which can be extremely painful.
You can know you made the right decision, and still feel the loss. You can choose yourself, and still feel sad about what it revealed.
Two things can be true at once.
And, maybe that’s what healing really looks like. Not forgetting, but understanding why you chose differently this time, and making peace with that decision.

Your attention is shaping your life, whether you realize it or not. Choose wisely.

Healing begins when you stop trying to find peace in someone else’s storm🤍
This can feel impossible at first, especially if you were raised in a chaotic environment. You likely learned early on to steady yourself around other people’s turbulence. This can look like tiptoeing, absorbing, fixing, shrinking, or “walking on glass”. All, while secretly hoping that if you can calm their winds, you’ll finally feel safe yourself.
However, peace doesn’t come from managing someone else’s turmoil. Peace comes from stepping out of the storm entirely, choosing your own ground, and remembering that the safety you’ve been searching for is something that can only be built from within.
If you’re ready to step out of the storm, let this be your reminder.

Inner peace doesn’t just happen, it’s something we create.
đź’— Feed it with movement and nourishment.
đź’— Protect it with boundaries.
đź’— Return to it daily through stillness, gratitude, gentle connection, and the grace of letting go.

Relationships are hard, but here’s the truth…
Change is inevitable, and growth is necessary. Expecting someone else to stay the same, or become someone new, sets everyone up for heartbreak and disappointment.
The healthiest love says, “I’ll love you as you grow, and I’ll keep growing too.”
True love isn’t found in staying the same. True love is found when two souls are brave enough to keep loving, keep healing, and keep rising together🤍.
