My client wanted to blend away her greys, touch up her months of grow out, and lighten up her blonde a bit. She also wanted a nice bright blonde without brass. You already know I used enzyme developer to get her hair lightest and brightest while maintaining strength and health. It’s important to note when lightening previously lightened hair I use a very gentle second formula just to give a little bump in lift. Not all stylist will take this extra step to protect the integrity of your hair. Matrix ceramide toner with bonders in it were used to add a beautiful shine and protective coating. My sweet client wanted a warm brown with dimension. No blonde, no ash, no yellow…I said I got you girl!! We blended away her grey new growth with a special double pigment color, toned down some of her old red hair color to a more warm brown, and added a warm golden bronde highlight with concentration around her face and hairline. Using enzymes along the way allows me to not only protect her hair from breakage when lightening but to also repair every strand of hair. If you think of hair like skin and bones….enzyme developers protect the bones while k18 protect and repairs the skin. This is why all of my clients leave with healthy, shiny, repaired, long lasting color. I will never stop loving and educating on this!
