Two fantastic specials at Cuttery in Brookside Plaza in Countryside, IL. Let’s get you on the books.

Here we have one of our amazing stylists at Hair Cuttery, Stacy.

She wanted a change that was different from her usual blonde hair. Soooo we decided to do a bright burgundy peekaboo with a much cooler blonde on top.

She loves it and so do I.

Let’s talk color correction:

One of your favorite clients come in with a bit of a mishap. What should’ve been a retouch of color became a color correction. Why?

As you can see there is an abundance of green in the front and that came from putting on black hair color on top of lightened hair. The blue from the black and the yellow from the lightened hair turned the hair to emerald green.

So I go in with a color remover and it lifted to an avocado. Then I fill the color in with some red to knock out the green and used a semi- black with a red base to make sure the green is gone.

Now it’s a black and blue half and half.

RED FOR FILTH!!!

This stunning lady came in and initially wanted a partial highlight. She showed me some pics and I’m thinking something different.

So we underwent a subtle balayage and let that lighten at a slow and steady pace. Once we got to the level where we were happy, we did a shampoo and put in my lovely formula of a vampy red. Waited a bit then deep conditioned.

Now we here!!! Come and get your fashion colors in for the fall time. Book with your girl.

Now this I can super proud of.

Highlights is something I’m constantly learning to be better at….never mastering. Mastering, to me, means the learning stops. Sooo this lovely woman came in with much darker hair and highlights that have grown out so much. She wanted to be brighter but wanted a partial highlight. So I went in and did 8 foils on each section (I know it’s a lot) and she lightened soooo fast. Thankfully I work with a team of stylists that know a thing or two about toning. The toner made all the difference in the world.

This is the result. She looks amazing.

I’ve tried very hard to fight to regain my monetization on this page and they are not bending. Sooo I give up. I’m done here.
