I often think about all of the women I’ve had the pleasure of meeting through being a service provider in the beauty industry. Every person who has walked through my doors has brought a piece of their story with them.

I’ve celebrated relationship announcements, engagements, marriages and pregnancies. I’ve listened to stories about the birth of children, miscarriages, surgeries, vacations, divorces, and job promotions. I’ve watched clients take leaps of faith and build their own businesses. So many life moments—both joyful and difficult—have been shared, and I can’t help but feel incredibly grateful for that.

About 90% of my clients come in for lash extensions, which means I get to see them regularly and truly build deep relationships. But I’ve also formed meaningful connections with women who come in for skincare services too.

It’s never just a facial or a set of lashes. It’s the conversations, the trust, the laughter, and sometimes even the tears. It’s watching a relationship grow over time and getting to be a small part of someone’s life.

✨ next month marks FOUR years in business ✨

It feels like yesterday I was in my spare bedroom trying to figure out what it would look like to run a business in the beauty industry. So many unknowns but I believed in myself and trusted God. After juggling multiple jobs and life transitions, I am so grateful I’m at the place where this is my only job.

Entrepreneurs don’t talk enough about how hard it is to run a business. The slow weeks, the burnt out weeks, the ever rising inventory costs, no health insurance, no PTO, no sick time. No guarantee of how much you’ll make each month. Working while sick. Working when you’re mentally and emotionally spent. The back pain. The neck pain. The hip pain lol. You’re required to have tough skin and trust in yourself and your business.

But…the blessings are worth it. The satisfied clients, making your own schedule, taking vacations when you want, playing therapist to many many women, and being a safe place they can come to relax and get serviced. I feel honored so many of you have shared your very personal and intimate stories with me.

I wouldn’t be here without all of YOU! 💗 Every appointment, referral, kind word, and review has helped me grow and do what I love every single day. Thank you for trusting me with your beauty needs and for being such a huge part of this journey. Here’s to many more years of celebrating beauty together! 🥂💆‍♀️💕
