Berry Pink Aesthetics & Piercings

Hello everyone! Long time no see 🍓 a lot of changes to be made.
First and foremost I want to say that our permanent jewelry machine is down, and we are ordering new parts! I will announce when those are fixed.
Secondly, a lot of people have been messaging me asking where I’m at with piercing, and why haven’t I gotten any further? To be put simply, life. Last year just wasn’t my year to progress learning with the business being re-opened, it was more so all hands on deck figuring everything out. I believe we are getting at a better place for me to finally continue my apprenticeship! While in between the madness I have continued learning and watching, and I’m very excited to start back up.
Third, I wanted to make an announcement! I have been dabbling lately with different things such as Homemade deodorants, Solid perfumes, and practicing embroidery. Soon I will be selling these, and really just taking the name “Berry Pink” wherever she takes me. For now, to me, it seems to only make sense to add in 'Aesthetics' to the Berry Pink name on top of the 'piercings' part of this page, since I am focused on permanent jewelry, making great homemade products, and learning from my mentors in booth procedures. The name Berry pink piercings just doesn't cover everything I'm currently accomplishing! When the time comes to where I will need volunteers for jewelry changes and piercing appointments, then more than likely this page will switch focus. But ideally, I would really love the name “Berry Pink” to stick for all of my future projects.
I’m so excited, I’m so beyond nervous. I never thought I would actually be able to make wonderful handmade products that are safe for sensitive skin, and be able to eventually sell them. So far everyone who has tried my products has absolutely loved them, so I cannot wait to be able to share them all with you. I will be doing a giveaway when everything is finalized, so make sure you follow the page for updates! Cheers to the future🍓✨

A homage to my mother.

Today I wanted to share something absolutely beautiful that happened recently. My mother just gave me some of her favorite pieces of jewelry from her childhood and told me stories about each piece. Seeing how passionate she was describing these pieces, I wanted to properly honor them. My mom probably didn’t know this at the time she was showing me, but I also have a strong emotional connection to jewelry, and to see us share the same passions is so special. It’s not the pieces themselves that are what binds us, but the memories we have made with them that make them so much more special.

Earrings: These are titanium anodized hand crafted earrings from the 80’s. My mother’s grandmother gifted these to her when she was a child.

Bracelet: Vintage 1980’s original Strawberry Shortcake, with added charms. Growing up my mother’s family was not wealthy, and her grandmother was a recluse when it came to going out of the house. One day, out of random, her grandmother wanted to go spend the day shopping. This was an extremely rare occasion for my mom. My great grandmother then told my mom she could pick out absolutely anything in the store, and she would buy it for her. My mom IMMEDIATELY picked out this bracelet, and has cherished it since. Her second favorite to strawberry shortcake is Apricot so I absolutely love that she saved those charms in practically mint condition.

Ring: This is a sterling silver ring from 1980 adorned with a fake resin cast stone.
My mother’s father was always working and never really had extra time for activities, but when he did have the time my mom always held onto those memories. Her father took her shopping and said she could pick out one thing, and she chose this ring. To be able to hold in my hands a cherished memory is such an honor.

Being able to listen to these stories and inheriting these pieces means I get to pass a new story along to my daughter, adding even more to them.
Are these items high quality? No. But the stories they tell, the memories they hold, the legacies these pieces will have, are worth more than gold.

Another great service trade! My amazing hairstylist Audrey came in and upgraded all her jewelry for hair services. We did a philtrum switchout with titanium opal anodized rose gold, and two nostril opals placed with a hand welded titanium chain! This was amazing practice for me!
