✨let’s talk about •OIL•
Yes, it’s absolutely amazing for dry or dehydrated skin. That’s probably one of the first things you think of when you think facial oil; “that’s definitely not for me because I’m oily”. But there are two things I need you to know moving forward with this love≈hate relationship with oil...
1. There are different kinds && not all of them are good for your face.
2. ALL skin types can benefit from the right facial oils!

I understand it’s hard to imagine putting oil on an already oily complexion. That’s fair-if you don’t know which one to use. Healthy, supplemental oils are great for tricking your oil glands into thinking their job is already done. Overactive oil production causes our infamous T-zone shine and sometimes unwanted breakouts.
But if we add an appropriate facial oil to our routine, we can counteract our glands from going overboard and start to create a more balanced complexion.
Here are some of the best ones to use on your face. Ask me which ones might help you specifically ⭐️

This is a filter pad before & after a quick treatment with the diamond tip microderm tool. Even those with the most religious skincare routines need a little extra boost every now and then. Our cell turnover rate, as we age, is unforgiving!

Cell turnover is the process by which our skin produces new skin cells which travel from the lowest layer of the epidermis to the top layer and then shed off the skin. This is what keeps dead cells from building up on the skins surface.

It slows down as we age and can lead to dull, wrinkly, flaky skin.
Treat yourself to healthy glowing ✨ skin on a monthly basis and you’ll be sure to see & feel the results!

What is the difference between microdermabrasion and dermaplaning⁉️

I’ve gotten this question quite a few times so let me try to explain!

◾️Microderm exfoliates your face by a diamond tip to scrape away the surface layer of dead skin. It helps fine lines, acne scarring, mild discoloration and clogged pores. It “polishes” skin for a healthy glow. Not always recommended for people with sensitive skin or broken capillaries.

◾️Dermaplaning exfoliates your face by using a surgical blade to remove the top layer of dead skin cells and built up debris. It revives the skin, and also removes vellus hair (peach fuzz). It can be done on any skin type, and helps to refine fine lines, wrinkles, mild acne scars, dry skin and more.

«Let’s start with the basics 👀

The definition of an esthetician (aesthetician)— a person who is knowledgeable about the nature and appreciation of beauty, especially in art.

An esthetician is an important part of not only physical health, but internal and mental as well. Yes we know about to do to skin to keep it healthy. But we also know what needs to be taken into the body to maintain it!

&& because a lot of our work is one on one, we get to make intimate connections with each of our clients to make sure they know how beautiful and important they are💕
