Governor Announcement - Continued Closures

Dear Licensees,
Today, Governor DeWine announced the start of the state's reopening plan. The Governor specifically stated that at this time salons, barbershops, spas and nail facilities are not able to reopen as part of this first phase announcement. The Board is seeking further guidance on tanning facilities and cosmetology/barber schools. Once we have this guidance, we will provide this information as quickly as possible. In the meantime, you are encouraged to continue to review and refamiliarize yourself with the infection control requirements found in OAC Chapter 4713-15 Sanitation; Communicable Diseases.

We know you are all anxious to get back to doing what you love to do and appreciate your patience and compliance as the Governor seeks to reopen the state while keeping the citizens healthy.

Due to the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19), the Government has mandated that THURMOND’s Barbershop close the doors for the unforeseeable future. We are very sorry for this inconvenience and please stay safe.
