I love this place! Jesse is awesome, he listens and talks about options before he even starts cutting/styling your hair. He does a fantastic job - I’ve had a lot of haircuts but when I walked out of Funky Zen I had the EXACT haircut what I wanted.
The place is relaxing and every single person who works there is kind and professional.
Cool place, cool people - I’ll definitely recommend to all my friends and family.

McKenzie did an absolutely amazing job\! Her knowledge of curly hair—and more importantly, her ability to teach me how to care for and style my own curls with patience, direction, and genuine care—is unlike anything I’ve experienced in 57 years\.

I walked in looking like a frizzy lion’s mane… dry, weighed down, shapeless, and completely lacking any “umph\.” I walked out with weightless, bouncy, soft, luscious curls that looked and felt incredible\!

The best part? I left with the confidence and knowledge to recreate them myself at home\. No curling irons or fancy tools required—just the right haircut, the right technique, a comb, a brush, air\-dry cream, and a blow dryer with a diffuser\.

McKenzie didn’t just give me a haircut; she gave me an education, confidence, and curls I never knew I could have\.

FuNkY ZeN wins again! I drive an hour away let Mackenize do her thing. I used to be the “Basic” haircut guy (A Walk-In) who waits for first available hair cutter. Her vibe and energy along with most amazing staff make the experience 1st class! And the MUSIC!! Thank you for the coffee Nevaeh!!
