Meet Alexa - body sculpting and wellness treatment specialist in Torrance, CA!

Alexa’s journey into the beauty and wellness industry actually began long before she ever became a provider.

Growing up, she experienced similar treatments herself while visiting family in South America. At the time, she never imagined they would one day become part of her career.

Years later, while on her own healing journey and working in healthcare, Alexa found herself searching for another way to help people feel good, both physically and emotionally. 🩵

Around the same time, a close friend introduced her to the world of body sculpting, and in 2024 she decided to take her very first training course. What started as curiosity quickly turned into a passion!

Today, Alexa offers non-invasive body sculpting treatments, which includes the following modalities: ultrasound cavitation, radiofrequency, low lip laser therapy and vacuum therapy. She also offers Lymphatic Detox treatments, featuring wood therapy to manipulate the lymphatic system.

Her goal isn’t to sell quick fixes or promise weight loss. Instead, she’s passionate about helping clients reduce bloating, improve skin firmness, support their wellness journey, and feel more confident in their own bodies.

When she’s not at the studio, you’ll probably find her watching the sunrise or sunset at the beach, driving the coast to the Palos Verdes lighthouse with a good book, or planning her next travel adventure (on her bucket list: Europe and Turkey!)

Meet the woman behind It’s Always Summer Beauty - Colette!

Back in 2012, It’s Always Summer Beauty looked a little different.

It was just me, a spray tan setup, and the second bedroom of my apartment. I loved helping people feel confident, and I knew I wanted to build something centered around making people feel good in their own skin.

As the years went on, that dream grew.

I became a licensed esthetician, added sugaring, moved into my first studio space, and soon after found the home where our studio still is today in Torrance, CA. In 2024, we expanded into the neighboring suite, creating room for even more incredible beauty professionals and services.

🌊 Today, It’s Always Summer Beauty has grown into a space where you can come for a spray tan, sugaring, lash extensions, brow services, permanent jewelry, facials, lymphatic drainage, buccal massage, and more, all under one roof.

What I’m most proud of isn’t just the services we offer, it’s the community we’ve built here in the South Bay area. I love working alongside talented women who are passionate about what they do and create a welcoming space where clients can relax, feel cared for, and leave more confident than when they walked in.

Outside of the studio, you’ll usually find me hanging out with my son, walking along the beach in South Redondo, hiking Palos Verdes, eating sushi, or planning my next adventure.
