Greetings! I am back, full steam ahead, and I have some GREAT 🌊 new colors to share with you, including the all new HOMES Collection, and limited time Halloween polishes! 🎃

Here in Traverse City, advocate group Flow Water Advocates, works to protect the Great Lakes through water law, policy, education, and the idea that these waters are a shared public resource that should remain healthy, public, and protected for generations to come.

A few weeks ago, my husband and I went to Sound & Shore, a benefit concert for FLOW featuring Michigan musician May Erlewine. It was one of those nights that leaves you thinking about where you live, what you love about it, and what you want to help protect. I left feeling even more certain that I wanted my next collection to give back to FLOW and the work they do protecting our freshwater and the Great Lakes.

This collection has actually been in the works for quite a while. It really started last year when the Islander Shoppe on Drummond Island asked me to create Gem of the Huron. From there, the idea of creating colors inspired by all five Great Lakes kept growing. Lately, though, releasing it has felt even more important.

Our freshwater is facing pressure from so many directions. In August, the President issued an executive order directing federal agencies to rename Lake Ontario “Lake America.” Across the Great Lakes region, communities are asking increasingly important questions about the enormous water and energy demands of new data centers. And the future of Line 5 beneath the Straits of Mackinac continues to be debated in courts, agencies, communities, and tribal nations.

There are victories, setbacks, and plenty of moments when protecting something this enormous can feel overwhelming. But that is exactly why the work continues to matter. The Great Lakes hold an incredible amount of the world’s freshwater, shape life throughout our entire region, and belong to everyone including future generations we will never meet.

I will donate $2 for every bottle of Gem of the Huron, Ontario Forever, Lake Michigan, Erie-sistible, or Superior State of Mind that sells in 2026 to FLOW. That means if you pick up the whole limited time collection, we will donate $10!
