Multimedia Makeup Academy is deeply saddened to share the passing of our beloved Founder, Devawn Testagrossa.

Her passion for the beauty industry was unmatched. She believed that beauty education could change lives​ and through Multimedia Makeup Academy, she dedicated herself to helping future beauty professionals discover their talents, build their confidence, and pursue their dreams.

Her vision created more than a school, i​t created a community. A place where artists, creators, and future professionals could learn, grow, and find their purpose. Countless students have walked through MMA’s doors and into successful careers because De​vawn believed in them before they believed in themselves.

Her impact extends far beyond the classroom. It lives on in every graduate, every client served, every career launched, and every life she touched with her kindness, encouragement, and unwavering support.

When Devawn was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, she made the incredibly difficult decision to step away from her role and focus on her health. With great care and consideration, she entrusted Multimedia Makeup Academy’s traditions and history to new owners who would continue carrying forward the vision, passion, and purpose she worked so hard to build.

While our hearts are heavy, we are forever grateful for the legacy she leaves behind. We will continue to carry her vision forward and honor her memory by inspiring the next generation of beauty professionals, just as she did every day.
