The reward for surviving summer in the desert is.. MONSOON

The clouds accumulate as the heat rises and we are blessed with a downpour nearly every evening in late summer. The arroyos sing and groundwater is replenished as the summer plants sprout and bloom. The scent of creosote bush fills the air and the sunsets are on fire. We feel relief from the heat and the critters get a drink. What a beautiful time to be alive & well in the Sonoran Desert.
