I have a friend who teases me because apparently I start every wig review with, “I’m so excited to show you this one!” 😂
But here’s the thing. I really AM excited every single time!

And Salt & Pepper Rooted? SO good. 🤍🖤 It gives you that beautiful dimensional gray without looking flat or one-note.

Facebook can be brutal sometimes. I originally posted this on my old Facebook account, but after getting several new comments about my teeth lately, I thought it was worth sharing again.
What makes someone want to hurt another person over something so small? 🤔
I adored Aimee Lou Wood 🍩 in The White Lotus. Her expressive face and slightly gapped smile are part of what makes her so adorable and memorable. And I catch myself thinking, is that how I look when I smile? Gosh, I hope so! 😁
I’ve always been self-conscious about my big front teeth and the gap (diastema). I’ve asked my family many times if I should get veneers. Their answer is always, “Absolutely not.”
Sometimes the thing we think we need to “fix” is part of what makes us uniquely us.
I used to engage with people who left nasty comments. Now I just block them.
But sometimes I look at their profiles first, and it’s almost always women. Often grandmothers with photos of their adorable grandchildren and families. And I can’t help but wonder why someone who clearly loves the people in her own life would deliberately try to hurt a woman she doesn’t even know.
At my age, I’m not interested in sanding down every quirk to look perfectly polished.
So yes, I’m keeping my big, gapped front teeth. They’ve been here through every laugh, every wig review, and every season of my life. 💁🏼♀️😁
