If you’ve ever wondered how to make wearing a wig a little more comfortable in the summer heat, this one is for you.

Well…sort of. 😂

I saw this brilliant idea from a while back and was so inspired, I had to try it. The concept is simple. Place thin panty liners inside your wig where you tend to sweat. They can help absorb moisture and keep you feeling a little cooler throughout the day.

The only problem?

I didn’t have any panty liners.

I only had maxi pads.

Let’s just say - they were a little too thick, a little too fluffy, and every time I moved my head they made the funniest crinkly sound. I laughed so hard making this reel that I almost couldn’t finish filming it.

So here’s my updated recommendation:

Use thin panty liners, not maxi pads. 😂

Things I’m embarrassed to admit after wearing wigs for 17 years…

For the first 14 years, I did everything I could to make sure no one knew I was wearing a wig.

I worried someone would notice.

When someone asks me how many wigs I have… 🤭
