Black women are now the fastest-growing group of entrepreneurs in the United States. We continue to build businesses, create jobs, solve problems, and innovate-even when the odds are stacked against us. Yet there's another story that doesn't get told nearly enough.

Black women founders consistently receive well under 1% of U.S. venture capital funding, despite being one of the fastest-growing entrepreneurial groups. We also face greater barriers to securing small business loans, grant funding, and access to investors than many of our counterparts.

Imagine what Black women-owned businesses could achieve if we had equitable access to venture capital, business loans, grants, investors, and the financial resources needed to scale.
