Hi!! It’s been 6 months… 6 months since I gave up. 6 months since I told myself I didn’t care anymore. 6 months since I started giving excuse after excuse to leave the industry. Truth is I wasn’t motivated any more. I let parts of my life interfere with my well-being and my career. I could have put a lot more effort into my work and I was slowing fading out- I sabotaged what I had going in a self destructive way. I knew that if I ever wanted to be successful in this (my) business that I needed a break. I needed to miss my clients, doing hair, coming into the salon where multiple women supported me. Let me tell you, I do. So much, that the other day I cut hair and nearly cried doing it because I missed it. If I wanted to come back, I needed to start over. That’s exactly what I’m doing. I want to focus more on what I enjoy and what I know I’m good at. I was honest before but I want to take it to a new level. I want to connect with people in my chair, I want to be your friend not just a service. I want you to trust me and I you, that way we are both on the same page. I had trouble showing up for my clients because I couldn’t show up for myself and I knew I needed to change that. From now on I will be better, stronger, more dependable. I’m more motivated than ever and I truly can’t wait to be back doing what I have realized I truly love. 🥺❤️
