This has been our mantra so to speak for the salon in this new season, and it will continue to be so. God has provided our salon with such an amazing group of clients that has truly become a family. When y’all hurt, we hurt. When yall are in a time of joyfulness, we are the same. When we are down and out, yall have rallied around us and lifted us up. Yall have stuck beside us through all the curve balls that the enemy has thrown our way, and we couldn’t be more grateful that y’all have stuck with us through it all. Thank you for loving us so fiercely!

As we begin this new year, we are humbly reminded that we wouldn’t be here without you! We know life gets hard sometimes, but you guys keep showing up and showing out for your stylist and our salon. We thank you. We love you! Let us not forget this verse and may we live this year without worry but with thankfulness.

Update on Linda: she is feeling much better and is back at work!!!! Thank you for the prayers for her!!!!

The enemy is still at work for our shop family. Sickness has run its course the last few weeks with the flu for Patty and Kandis, and now our “Mama Linda” is in th hospital with a kidney stone/infection. So if everyone could please say some prayers for healing for her so she can come home and that the salon family stay well the rest of this sick season. It would be greatly appreciated.

For anyone needing or having appointments with Linda this week, she will get with you to reschedule if she hasn’t already!

🕑Side note, the salon is open today, but may not be all day. Not all of us are working, Tabitha is out until Tuesday, Patty is not there today, and Kandis has the flu, so if you need something done by your stylist, check with her first to see if she’s there!

To those that do have appointments, please do your best to be on time!!!! Our girls our doing their best to accommodate everyone, so please be mindful of their schedules and if you’re late it makes them late for everyone else after you.

Also, if you are sick, reschedule! We understand you want to be beautiful for Christmas and all the things and seeing family, but so do our girls!!! Please just reschedule.

🦃🍗Sorry it’s a little late, we all have been taking the time off to thouroughly enjoy our families. We hope you all enjoyed your Thanksgiving holiday, however you got to spend it.

🙏🏼🛐🤲🏾Several of our salon family has had a lot of things happening over the last few weeks. Thank you for everyone for all the thoughtful messages, hugs when you’ve seen us, and most of all the prayers sent!!!! We each appreciate it greatly and ask for the continued prayers for sure.

🤩😎We look forward to seeing yall come Tuesday for the beginning of the Christmas rush!!! Don’t wait until last minute to get your hair done!!! We only have 3 working weeks left until Christmas….THREE!!!!! All our books are filling up fast, so contact your stylist first thing Tuesday to get booked!!!

Need something to do after all that turkey eating??? Come to the BOWL-a-thon fundraiser for Tab’s dad Thanksgiving night from 6-9. It’s open to anyone to bowl, so you don’t have to bowl leagues or anything like that. So bring the family and let it be the start of a new family tradition. Tab and her family used to bowl after thanksgiving when she was a kid. Make some memories and bowl for a good cause.

Just to recap the recent events that have led to this fundraiser, 3 weeks ago today, my dad had to have a below the knee amputation on his right leg. After multiple surgeries on his foot over the summer, the infection cane back and ws eating away the bone of his foot. After the Bka, everything was going great until it wasn’t. Last Friday it starting draining blood and home healthcare told him to go to the ER. Jeremy took him and they ran labs and took cultures and sent him home. Monday the ER Dr called and said come back he has to be admitted bc cultures came back and he has Staph. We get there and come to find out it’s not just staph, but MRSA and he will have to go under again! This time with the possibility of an ABOVE the knee amputation. Surgery happened Wednesday and they were able to save his knee. Now we are just waiting to find out the logistics of him getting discharged bc of the PICC line, daily blood work, and wound vac. He will either be going home back to my house or he will be having to go to a “swing bed” rehab facility in Jacksonville. His drs are recommending rehab but his insurance will only cover the swing bed. So now we just wait. If he goes to the rehab he will be there for 6weeks until the PICC line comes out. So that’s the latest and reason for the fundraiser. For those that can’t make it and find themselves lead to donate, a link to the GoFundMe and Tabs venmo will be in the comments.
