A place where everyone feels welcomed, loved, cared for, valued, and appreciated. We laugh, we cry, we hug, y’all we can even be quiet when need be! SMS is the place where you can come as you are and be loved, be nurtured, be pampered, be YOU in whatever state that may be that day. We hope that you know we are team YOU! 🕑Side note, the salon is open today, but may not be all day. Not all of us are working, Tabitha is out until Tuesday, Patty is not there today, and Kandis has the flu, so if you need something done by your stylist, check with her first to see if she’s there!

To those that do have appointments, please do your best to be on time!!!! Our girls our doing their best to accommodate everyone, so please be mindful of their schedules and if you’re late it makes them late for everyone else after you.

Also, if you are sick, reschedule! We understand you want to be beautiful for Christmas and all the things and seeing family, but so do our girls!!! Please just reschedule.

Need something to do after all that turkey eating??? Come to the BOWL-a-thon fundraiser for Tab’s dad Thanksgiving night from 6-9. It’s open to anyone to bowl, so you don’t have to bowl leagues or anything like that. So bring the family and let it be the start of a new family tradition. Tab and her family used to bowl after thanksgiving when she was a kid. Make some memories and bowl for a good cause.

Just to recap the recent events that have led to this fundraiser, 3 weeks ago today, my dad had to have a below the knee amputation on his right leg. After multiple surgeries on his foot over the summer, the infection cane back and ws eating away the bone of his foot. After the Bka, everything was going great until it wasn’t. Last Friday it starting draining blood and home healthcare told him to go to the ER. Jeremy took him and they ran labs and took cultures and sent him home. Monday the ER Dr called and said come back he has to be admitted bc cultures came back and he has Staph. We get there and come to find out it’s not just staph, but MRSA and he will have to go under again! This time with the possibility of an ABOVE the knee amputation. Surgery happened Wednesday and they were able to save his knee. Now we are just waiting to find out the logistics of him getting discharged bc of the PICC line, daily blood work, and wound vac. He will either be going home back to my house or he will be having to go to a “swing bed” rehab facility in Jacksonville. His drs are recommending rehab but his insurance will only cover the swing bed. So now we just wait. If he goes to the rehab he will be there for 6weeks until the PICC line comes out. So that’s the latest and reason for the fundraiser. For those that can’t make it and find themselves lead to donate, a link to the GoFundMe and Tabs venmo will be in the comments. If using venmo just put “Dad” in the memo.
