My name is Nathan Arvizu and I'm the owner of Arvizu Studio inside of Salon Republic in Valencia, CA. I've been doing hair for 35 years.
Nathan’s design studies have taken him around the world: Trevor Sorbie in London, Sassoon at Covent Gardens… some of England’s most artistic and creative venues. (He carries diplomas in color, texture, and classic style from the Vidal Sassoon Academy.) He’s studied editorial hair design at Fred Siegel, and still works in the edgy, creative effects of editorial fashion photography. Italy, France… he’s travelled to some of most exciting salons and shows in Europe. He’s nourished his skills with the best of the best, while protecting the internal creativity that he’s gained from his earliest apprenticeships in the creative artistry of Southern California.
