My journey to live life as a healthier version of me. This includes my mental health, body health, social health, spiritual health and relationship health.
I'm learning to love myself at any weight.

Yes this is a picture of a grassy yard LOL
For me it was quite the NSV! It's about 5,500 square feet of out of control grass that I was physically able to w**d eat today. Pre-op at 360lbs there was NO WAY I would've been able to help with this work especially in 90 degree weather.
But today I did it without any pain til the end. My feet didn't hurt. My knees didn't hurt and I wasn't out of breath. I was able to look at it with a mindset of "this will be a fun workout!" And was honestly so proud of myself.
Life is just a little bit easier after dropping 150lbs. I'm loving this life I'm building.

Almost 14 months post op and while the scale hasn't moved in months due to stress and major life changes....doing a mini photo shoot in my biggest clothes really helped remind me how far I've come.
Keep a handful of your biggest items! You won't regret it! This black top and green pants were my favorite! Haha
Grateful for this journey and how far I've come but I'm not done yet so stick around!

Motivation is garbage. Focus on being consistent. Even imperfect consistency will do wonders!

A great reminder that sometimes the physical changes on the outside don't reflect all the inner and mental changes happening.

Surgery won't fix all your problems as there is a TON of mental work and bad habits to break but it is the most effective treatment for (morbid) obesity and related chronic illnesses.
It's a tool! It's tough, so tough! But it can be life changing if you do the work!

One year apart....
A year ago I was counting down the weeks, days, hours til my Gastric Bypass Surgery. I was so excited for my life to change. I was putting in the work and changing my habits and full of hope.
The top 2 pics were 1 month preop.....the bottom 2 pics are 11 months post op. What a crazy year.

These pics are 7 years apart and it's crazy to look back and see how sad and miserable I was.... cheers to a better today than yesterday.
