It is my pleasure to introduce and officially welcome Genesis as the new owner of Andrew Michael Salon.

Many of you may already know Genesis from her time here at Andrew Michael Salon before she went on to open her own business, Beauty Bar by Genesis. In just a year and a half, she has grown from owning one salon to now owning two—an incredible accomplishment that speaks to her dedication, hard work, and entrepreneurial spirit. She has built one successful salon and now is expanding to two in such a short time is truly something to be proud of.

I truly couldn’t imagine handing over Andrew Michael Salon to anyone else. Genesis is someone I trust wholeheartedly, and I know she will continue to grow the salon while honoring the strong foundation, culture, and welcoming environment we’ve built together.

When I became a licensed hairstylist at 20
years old I also became a mom. From the very beginning, my greatest motivation was my baby boy. My number one goal was to build a successful career that would create a better life for him and make him proud. I’ve worked tirelessly to build a strong foundation, earn the trust of my clients, and create a business that reflects my passion and values. Naming Andrew Michael Salon after my son was one of the proudest moments of my career. I love him more than words can express, and he has always been the reason behind my drive, determination, and desire to succeed.

As I reflect on the past five years as a salon owner, my heart is filled with gratitude. I’ve had the privilege of working alongside incredibly talented stylists, building lasting relationships with amazing clients, and watching so many women grow both personally and professionally. Watching the incredible growth, confidence, and success of the women I’ve had the opportunity to work with has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey.

Over the last couple of years, my life has taken me in a new direction—one that I feel incredibly grateful and blessed for. After much thought and reflection, I’ve made the decision to step away from salon ownership. While this chapter is coming to a close, I’m not going anywhere. I’ll still be here behind the chair, continuing to welcome and care for my wonderful clients.

As both Andrew and I continue to grow into new chapters of our lives, I knew it was important to ensure that the salon would continue to thrive under new leadership. I truly believe I’ve found the right person to carry on the legacy of Andrew Michael Salon. I know you’re going to love her, and I’m excited to see the salon continue to grow and flourish.

Your trust, encouragement, and loyalty have meant everything to me. None of this would have been possible without you.
