Hi ! 😎It’s been awhile, so I’m going to introduce myself in this current era I’m in, then we’ll throw it back later to our transition from a storefront in Oak Park to a suite in Oakbrook Terrace 🫶🏻!

Hi 👋 I’m Katie, or Katherine, a feel people call me Kat , but I’ll let you decide 🙂

I’ve been in the beauty industry since I was in high school and began specializing in Lashes + Brows in 2010 🥳, back before lash extensions were T R E N D I N G! To say the industry has come a long way is an understatement.

I own The Beautiful Life XO - a lash and brow business that’s been operating out of Oak Park IL for just under 10 years 💕🎈. I’ve expanded, grown, hired, collaborated, trained, educated, and spent my entire adult life pouring into TBLXO 🥰.

Flash forward to end of May 2026 I went on Maternity leave and at the same time, closed up shop to our storefront. 🏬

In June 2026 I became a 👶🏻 and my whole world changed! 🩵

My hours of working til midnight, 🌙 brainstorming business concepts🧠, marketing my business, and spending every last minute growing my business suddenly came to a halt and was traded for newborn snuggles, feeding+pumping 🥛, and being a full time mom.

- can’t forget my first baby solo 🐶 🐾 who was adopted from a shelter in Oak Park

During my maternity leave I unboxed, set up , and reopened my business in back to my home roots 🏡

2 weeks ago In August I reopened and started taking clients again!

Currently I’m taking clients Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays! + our online booking can be found @ thebeautifullifexo.glossgenius.com

For those who have started booking I’m so excited to catch up and see how summers been, for those who have already come in it means so much to me, and to future clients let’s connect and get those lashes and brows looking fresh 😎!

I’m officially on 𝓂𝒶𝓉𝑒𝓇𝓃𝒾𝓉𝓎 𝓁𝑒𝒶𝓋𝑒 + pretty soon I’ll be welcoming a new little love into the world ! 👣

My business has always been my 🪨 rock and has kept me busy for years and years.

Taking a pause ⏸️ is a huge change for me, as many of you know, I work 24/7 😅, and love staying busy. But this next big chapter is also a very exciting next chapter in my life.
