Before the week begins again, I want to remind you of something…

You don’t have to earn your rest.

Our world celebrates busy schedules and overflowing calendars, but sometimes the most productive thing you can do is slow down.

Take a deep breath.
Drink your coffee while it’s still warm.
Read a few pages of that book you’ve been meaning to finish.
Take a walk.
Spend time in prayer.
Moisturize your skin with intention.
Or simply sit in the quiet for a few minutes.

Self-care doesn’t have to be extravagant. Often, it’s found in the small moments that remind us to care for ourselves with the same kindness we so freely give to others.
