… I had a SUPER stressful event this weekend.
And apparently my skin wanted to attend too. 😂
Sure enough, a little pimple decided to make an appearance.
So I grabbed my handy-dandy spot treatment, wrapped some ice so I wasn't putting it directly on my skin, and gave that little breakout some TLC.
And it got me thinking…

🧊 REMEMBER THESE OLD-SCHOOL SKINCARE TRICKS?

What skincare remedies did your mom, grandma, auntie—or whoever raised you—swear by?

🥒 Cucumber slices over the eyes
🥣 Oatmeal masks
🥄 Cold spoons for puffy eyes
🧊 A little wrapped ice for an angry pimple

Some of those old-school ideas weren't completely off base.
Others, though?
We need to leave them in the family history book. 😂
