✨ A primarily meshless install, as the client had enough hair on the crown that full mesh wasn't needed

✨ A small amount of mesh to help support the extensions due to fragile areas

Can you lighten curly extensions without compromising the curl pattern? Yes - but technique matters 👀✨

Our Virgin Natural Black (1B) Extensions can be lightened, making them a great option for custom color services. However, when working with curly or textured hair, low and slow is the way to go. Using a lower-volume developer and lifting gradually helps preserve the integrity of the hair and maintain the curl pattern. Higher-volume developers or aggressive lifting can loosen the curls over time.

💡 Pro Tip: If we offer a lighter shade that's close to your client's goal, choose that instead. It's always easier, and gentler, to add lowlights than to heavily lighten darker hair.
