Let’s talk about that overflowing drawer of half-used products 👀💸

If you’ve ever bought a shampoo just because it looked pretty (or your fave influencer said it was life-changing)... this one’s for you.

Healthy, beautiful hair doesn’t come from chasing every trend.

It comes from a routine that’s simple, smart, and tailored to your hair.

In this post, I’m breaking it all down—so you can stop the guesswork and finally build a routine that works with your hair, not against it.

💬 What’s the one product collecting dust in your drawer right now?

Tell me your shelf of shame story—I’ve heard (and seen) it all. 😅👇

Hey there 👋

I’m Sara, and I’m so happy you’re here!

Im a hairstylist, wife, mom & business owner. I am lucky enough to live my best life with my best friend and our mini 💗

This salon suite is not just a hair salon, it’s a total vibe! Hair transformations, laughs, deep conversations and a good vent sesh every now and then. It’s a laid back, comfortable space designed just for you. Did I mention there’s plenty of snacks 😉

When I’m not behind the chair, you can find me outside on an adventure with my family, on the sidelines cheering for my girl or inside organizing all the things … while listening to my favorite late 90s/early 2000s jams. So if that’s your vibe, step into my office.

I can’t wait to meet you & learn all about your hair goals!

xoxo,
Sara

What is a toner?

So you’ve heard of a toner/ gloss/ glaze/ shine (it goes by many names)… but do you know what it actually is?

In the most simple terms, a toner is:
- What makes your highlights the desired color
- Used to seal the hair cuticle after lightening services (preventing frizz and dried out hair)
- Subdues the dreaded brassy color
- What takes your color from being washed out and dull looking to literal Bombshell status.

And that is just the very basics of what a toner can do for your hair!

I personally love how much a toner can completely change your look with basically zero effort!

How much do you love a Pinterest board full of gorgeous hair? Sometimes we can get caught up in possibilities…
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Try these tips before your next hair session.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1. Narrow down to 3 of your favorites creating a clear vision of what you have pictured in your mind.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2. Create a designated folder you can easily access during the consultation and add your 3 faves.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
3. Include a DISLIKE photo if you find one. This will help you communicate what you do AND do not want.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
4. Remember, it’s a inspiration.. not a replication. The photo helps you visually describe the look you want. The end result will be customized for your hair type, lifestyle and complexion.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Where do you go to find your inspiration?

Do you dream of making a change without the hassle of frequent salon visits?
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Most brunettes feel they either have to be dark or like full-on blonde!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I assure you, this is not the case! I have lots of tricks up my sleeve that can spice up any gorgeous brunette without creating a ton of maintenance!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Adding ribbons of caramel really enhances this overall look and is such a fun upgrade for this all season we’re in.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The recommended maintenance plan on this overall look is simple.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Gloss & trim every 6-8 weeks.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Enhance the highlights every 6 months.

With the season change do you switch up your skincare routine to maintain the moisture balance?

… what about your scalp?

Feeling dry or itchy lately? That’s a sign it needs a lil TLC too.

Before you wash, first use a clarifying shampoo to remove build up (much like makeup remover for your skin) such as excess oil and styling products. Then, just simply resume your regular routine.

If you’re looking for something a little deeper, let’s try a rejuvenating scalp treatment at your next session. This is a 20 minute spa day for your head.. trust me, you won’t want it to end! 💆‍♀️
