There’s going to be a second date with Tony the Butcher

Geez have you guys been up my ass ever since my date waiting to know if there’s going to be a second one!

The short answer is yes. I saw Tony on Friday and we planned a date for next weekend. Stay tuned.

But also, I want this to be a lesson for all of you— you are not on anyone else’s timeline to determine if someone is right for you. Don’t let anyone pressure you into a second date or to jump into a relationship with them until you feel like it’s the right time for you.

It’s a lesson that it’s taken your Aunt Loretta 55 years to learn— the right ones will be OK with you taking your time. They will just be happy to spend that time with you. Of course, you never want to string anyone along… but a healthy relationship will happen when someone respects your pacing.

And you are worth waiting for, kiddo.😉

I love you, kiddo.

Kiddos I feel like a celebrity!😎

I can’t believe that millions of you have watched my videos over the last few days and thousands of you have decided to follow me.

I just thought it would be fun to jump on here and tell a story, and never imagined that you all would be so interested in what this 55-year-old broad from New Jersey has to say.

Well, I intend to keep this going. I gotta give the people what they want! And what they seem to want is more an LBD!😂

I love you kiddos.

When I shared the story, I never expected this.

Hey kiddos

The last few days have been a whirlwind! I’ve been popping on and off of Instagram for the last couple years, sharing some of my wisdom, some silly stories—and then the other day, I decided to tell you about my flirtations with Tony the Butcher.

And the content took off.
And now 50,000 of you are following me at Loretta Belladonna Donatacci -auntie advice. 🤯

And 90% of the comments are all saying the same thing:
we are all longing to feel hopeful about love, about a love like that existing, and that a love like that will find us.

I’m so grateful that you are invested in my happiness, but I hope that you are equally invested in your own. That you believe deep in your heart that you are worthy of a Tony and Loretta kind of love —or whatever type of love your heart desires.

Because you are, kiddo. Don’t ever give up hope.

And know that I love you very, very much.

Big hugs

Tony the Butcher: the update

I didn’t realize so many of you would be so invested in my budding romance with Tony the Butcher! But the amount of comments and DM’s (even comments on other posts!) asking for updates was crazy!

Listen, I can’t go into the butcher shop every day or else I’ll look desperate! But I went in yesterday and there have been some developments!

Thanks for caring about your auntie. I love you so much kiddos!

Love

You’re perfect, kiddo. Shine bright. ✨

During Pride Month, I always think about my q***r nieces and nephews. I’ve been to a lot of Pride parades and events, and last year I even wore my “free auntie-hugs” T-shirts and hugged a lot of kids who needed one.

And each time I held one of them, it both filled my heart and broke it at the same time.

I’m always in awe of all the joy and celebration and fun that I see during Pride Month. I love watching people live in their fully expressed versions. Out, proud, and fearless.

And at the same time, I’m filled with anger while I watch other people condemn what they think is a “lifestyle” and try to box up that joy and hide it away.

For all of my q***r kiddos… if that’s what you’re feeling, I’m going to say this to you and maybe it will help:

I think all those people who have such a hard time accepting q***r kids are angry because they lack the courage and the conviction to live an unapologetically bold and joyful life. That there are things they wish they could be, and they’re too afraid to be them. And watching you live your life is the type of freedom that they wish they could have.

I hope from the bottom of my heart that you all know that, for as many loud voices out there that may hurt you, there are so many more of those like me—who celebrate you, love you, accept you, and want to live our lives just like you.

You are freedom personified.
You are love in motion.
You are joy in action.

Don’t stop dancing just because Pride Month is over, kiddo.
Life is a celebration— always, ALWAYS celebrate yours.

I love you with my whole heart. You always have an auntie who will welcome you with open arms right here, kiddo.

Go smack ‘em upside the head with all of your glitter covered fabulousness.

And drink your water. It’s important to stay hydrated while you’re out there being fabulous. 😘

The ultimate multitasker for root touch-ups, thinning hair, and brows that are giving up on you.

Meet the Root Touch-Up for Hair & Brows — and it does everything!

Shop here: https://www.laurageller.com/pages/root-touch-up

One side is a dense cream pigment that grips and covers. The other side is a setting powder that locks it in. Together they cover gray roots, fill in thinning spots on the scalp, touch up your hairline, and fill in sparse or graying brows. No aerosol. No liquids. Carry-on friendly. One stick.

Whether you’re still coloring your hair and need something for between appointments, or you’re like me and just need to address thinning hair and that 90s overplucked brow situation — this works.
