Thrive Hair Bar DC is continuing its monthly professional natural hair education series with Two-Strand Flat Twists 101, an in-person, hands-on course designed for licensed cosmetologists, barbers, braiders, and natural hair professionals who want to sharpen their skills, expand their service offerings, and build stronger careers in natural hair care.
Flat twists are a versatile, low-tension styling technique that can be worn as a standalone protective style or incorporated into more intricate designs. But beautiful flat twists require more than neat parting. Understanding tension, product selection, hair density, and professional finishing techniques is essential to creating styles that look beautiful while supporting the health of your client's hair and scalp.
Throughout this course, you'll learn professional techniques for creating clean, consistent, long-lasting flat twists on kinky, coily, and curly hair—while protecting your client's hair health and your own physical well-being behind the chair.
You'll also have the opportunity to network with other beauty professionals, expand your styling versatility, and develop techniques you can immediately incorporate into your services—helping you build client trust, improve retention, increase bookability, and grow your earning potential.

It’s finally here: professional natural hair education at Thrive Hair Bar DC.
Starting November 8th, and continuing every month thereafter, Thrive Hair Bar is opening its doors to licensed cosmetologists, barbers, braiders, and natural hair professionals who want to sharpen their skills, expand their service offerings, and build stronger careers in natural hair care.
We’re kicking things off with Two Strand Twists 101—an in-person, hands-on course designed to go beyond simply learning how to do two strand twists. You’ll learn the techniques and professional standards behind creating beautiful, versatile two strand twists while protecting the health of both your client and yourself.
You’ll also have the opportunity to network with other beauty professionals, strengthen your understanding of kinky, coily, and curly hair, and learn techniques you can take directly back to your clients—helping you build trust, improve retention, expand your bookability, and increase your earning potential.
