To do this I have to continuously work on becoming a better version of myself. Remind myself I am capable of doing what I desire. And equip myself with (or seek help to develop) tools to reach new levels.
Therefore, growth is essential. Seeing the shortcomings of others is (sometimes) mirroring my own and constructive feedback is welcome.

A strong, symmetrical, “toned” body doesn’t exist without back and bicep work. So grab a set of moderate to heavy weight dumbbells and let’s work💪🏾
We are doing 4 sets of these 6 exercises for 10-12 reps or 40 seconds . After each round rest 60-90 seconds then get back to it. Be sure to stick to the time.

😷𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝗡𝗢𝗥𝗠𝗔𝗟😷
Soooooo let’s talk about gym workouts during the pandemic 😬👀
How are we feeling about the gyms reopening? Who else is conflicted about returning?🙋🏽♀️
In an effort to make a smart & informed decision, I did a little digging & decided to share what I found.
✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
According to researchers, Gyms have a very high risk of covid 19 outbreaks. The gym’s moist warm air, from exercising, creates an environment for droplets to readily spread.
So the researchers are saying “ex-nay on the gym-a” & highly recommend working out outside to lower risk of covid spread. However, if you must go back (you little gym rat you) then you should assess the risk before returning by:
• Looking at local transmission in your area & reviewing what local authorities say about the community spread. More outbreaks can mean you have a higher risk of catching Da Rona in confined spaces. If there’s an influx of cases in your area then SYBAAH 💁🏽♀️
• Consider your own underlying health conditions & age. Is it safe for you to be in confined spaces with others? Additionally, consider your quarantine circle; their age & underlying health conditions. If you are exposed, how could it potentially affect them? 🤔
Now if after all dat you decide to return, then here's how you can protect yourself & others:
• 𝙒𝙚𝙖𝙧 𝙖 𝙈𝙖𝙨𝙠. This can be difficult during high intensity exercises but it's can & must be done. The mask prevents expelled large droplets from evaporating into smaller droplets that travel farther. To fully benefit, the mask needs to cover both your MOUTH & NOSE👩🏽💻 yes, put your nose away!
• 𝙋𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙜𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙝𝙮𝙜𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙚. Be sure to wash & disinfect your hands before & after each gym session. Avoid touching your face. Bring your own equipment when possible. Disinfect any communal weights and mats.
