PLEASE SHARE! 📣 Important Homecoming Parade Route Update
⚠️ An earlier post said the parade would end at Five Points on Wilmor, this has been updated. Please do not set up along Wilmor, as the parade will not be going that direction.
➡️ The parade will start at Lincoln Park (near the helicopter)
➡️ Travel down Lincoln Street to Jefferson
➡️ Then turn west and end at the High School 🏫

Due to the Business 24 construction, this year’s Homecoming Parade will follow a new route:

➡️ The parade will start at Lincoln Park (near the helicopter)
➡️ Travel down Lincoln Street to Jefferson
➡️ Then turn west and end at Five Points

Please help spread the word so friends, families, and alumni can plan where to watch along the route. We can’t wait to see the community come together to cheer on our students and celebrate Homecoming! 🧡🖤

🚧 Business 24 Resurfacing Project 🚧

Heads up, Washington drivers! IDOT will begin resurfacing Business 24 east of the railroad bridge starting the week of September 1.
Please allow extra time in this area and watch for workers and equipment. We’ll share updates as the project moves along.

We were so excited to be invited to experience Tangled Roots Craft Beer & Kitchen - Washington before they open to the public next week! Stacy was hard at work behind the chair but Erin & Monica were able to sneak away and enjoy the beautiful new restaurant. The food, service and drinks were all amazing!

It’s summer time…which means a reminder to please plan ahead and allow extra time for parking for your Thursday evening appointments!

Unfortunately our POS system, Square is down in what appears to be a global system wide outage. We are only able to accept cash or check (Venmo for Monica & Stacy) at the moment until the system is back up and running. We apologize for any inconvenience.

As a business owner on the square(THATS OPEN PAST 5PM) we are excited about this new business joining us. Here’s an update for all those interested! Make sure you follow the links to gain some additional perspective.

We’re still open! The city has decided to do some sidewalk maintenance directly in front of the salon today. You can still enter through our back door. Please excuse the inconvenience, we weren’t made aware of the situation ahead of time and apologize to our customers for the lack of parking options available.

Stopping by Shears was on Bernie’s to do list yesterday.

With the announcement of Tier 3 closures throughout the state, we wanted to remind you that we are still open!!! We’ve been busy behind the chair these last 6 months without much time to update our page but because of our continued diligence to sanitation, social distancing, and mask wearing we’ve not had a single case of Covid traced to our salon since reopening. We so appreciate your role in this as well, staying home when you’re not feeling good or possibly been exposed has also helped us maintain keeping everyone safe.
We’re here to help you look your best and keep you safe. Throughout this holiday season we ask you to remember our small business, for gift certificates and/or products before visiting a big box store. We’re more than happy to deliver curbside if you’re not comfortable stepping inside the salon as well.
