Smooth skin doesn’t stop at your appointment. 🤍

At Mane Reflection, my goal is not only to give you a comfortable, thorough sugaring experience, but also to help you understand how to care for your skin between appointments.

Your at-home routine plays a BIG role in keeping your skin soft, healthy, and happy. Your results are 20% in the studio and 80% what you do in between.
Here are three things I want every sugaring client to know:

🤍 1. MOISTURIZE DAILY
Hydrated skin supports a healthy skin barrier and helps keep your skin feeling soft and supple. Choose a moisturizer suited to your skin and be consistent with it!

✨ 2. EXFOLIATE — BUT AT THE RIGHT TIME
Gentle, regular exfoliation helps remove the buildup of dead skin cells that can contribute to trapped hairs. Wait until your skin has calmed after sugaring before exfoliating, and avoid harsh scrubs or over-exfoliating sensitive areas. 48 hours post treatment is best!

🍯 3. PREVENTION STARTS BETWEEN APPOINTMENTS
Ingrown hairs can happen, even when you’re doing everything right. Consistent moisturizing, gentle exfoliation when appropriate, breathable clothing after your appointment, and following a regular sugaring schedule can all help support smoother-looking skin.

🚨 A LITTLE REMINDER: Immediately after sugaring, your skin may be more sensitive. Give it time to settle, avoid excessive heat, heavy sweating, friction, and irritating products for the first 24–48 hours, or longer if your skin needs it.

And please remember: your intimate skin deserves the same thoughtful care as the rest of your body. You don’t have to guess which products are right for you!
