A quick clarification because I’ve had several people ask. 🤎

I am still in the salon every day! 🙌🏻

While I’m taking a break from long color appointments to allow my injury to heal, I am absolutely still seeing clients for hair extensions, injectable treatments, consultations, and behind-the-scenes planning with our team.

Right now, I simply need to avoid the repetitive use of my left arm for several hours at a time, which makes full color appointments difficult. Stepping back from those services is giving my body the best chance to heal while still allowing me to continue doing what I love.

Unfortunately, I have some news I never wanted to have to share.

After trying everything I could to push through an injury, I’ve reached the point where my doctor and I agree that I need to step away from doing hair color for a little while. Effective immediately, I will not be doing color appointments for at least the next 2–3 weeks to focus on healing. I will still be doing extensions and Injections. I will also still be actively involved in the daily operations of the salon and offering my insight and knowledge where it’s needed.

I cannot tell you how heartbroken I am. Taking care of my clients is something I truly love, and having to physically not be able to do appointments is incredibly difficult for me. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and truly appreciate your patience, understanding, and support while I recover.

I’m trusting that everything happens for a reason and that God will guide me through this season, even though it’s incredibly hard to see the bigger picture right now. I’ve reached a point in my career where my books stay extremely full, I just settled into my beautiful new salon, and I finally felt like everything was falling into place. Having to step back now and trust others to take the wheel has been emotionally devastating, and I’ll admit that this isn’t an easy season for me.

If you have an appointment scheduled with me, I will be reaching out personally to discuss getting you rescheduled with one of the talented stylists I work closely with and trust completely. If you’re comfortable seeing one of them, we’ll do our best to keep you as close to your original appointment as possible. If you’d rather wait until I’m able to do the work, I completely understand and appreciate your patience.

The good news is that I fully expect to return, and I’m committed to taking the time my body needs to heal so I can come back healthy and continue doing what I love for many years to come.

Edit to add: Lauren is available to maintain all extension clients. For move ups and new installs, we will still work together as a team and I will remain present in the salon. Many of you have worked with Lauren and know that she’s extremely talented and does beautiful extension work. Definitely better than me 😅 She’s been meticulously trained and does some of the best work I’ve ever seen 😉 I do fully guarantee her work.

I will continue doing injections and would be extremely grateful for continued referrals.

As my business continues to grow and evolve, I’ve been intentional about where I want to focus my time and energy.

Over the past several years, hair extensions and aesthetics have become not only my greatest passions, but also a large part of my clientele. Between growing my extension brand, educating other stylists, and continuing to refine my skills through advanced training, I’ve realized it’s time to narrow my focus so I can give every extension and aesthetic client the time, attention, and experience they deserve.

Because of this, I will no longer be accepting new color-only clients.

I will absolutely continue providing color services for my existing guests, as well as custom color and blonding for extension clients to create seamless, natural-looking blends. Color is still something I genuinely love, and it will always be an important part of creating beautiful extension transformations.

If you’re looking for a stylist for color services, Brittany is currently accepting new color clients! She is incredibly talented, and I trust her work and attention to detail completely. I know she’ll take amazing care of you, and we’ll continue working closely together to ensure every client has an exceptional experience.

Sometimes taking one intentional step back allows you to move five steps forward. This is one of those moments for me. And if I’m being honest, it’s a little scary. But I truly believe this change will allow me to serve my clients at an even higher level. By specializing further, I can pour my heart into creating the highest quality extension transformations while continuing to grow my education, my extension brand, and my expertise in advanced aesthetic treatments and techniques.
